Pleasure sailing or building sea miles, our Adventure Cruising is an excellent way to get out on the water and sail longer passages to some amazing cruising destinations.

Adventure Cruising

Ideal if you prefer to experience a great sailing holiday without the worry of being the skipper. The pleasure sailor can enjoy the experience in the sound knowledge that each of the yachts is skippered by one of our trusted RYA Instructors.

Mile Building

The more experienced yachtswomen and yachtsmen can log valuable sea miles, night passages of over 60 miles and plenty of interesting pilotage, enabling them to consolidate skippering skills for their next RYA qualification. A great way to build sea miles and hone skills on your sailing holiday.

2020 Adventure Cruise & Milebuilding Destinations

Lundy & The Puffin Isles

Build sea miles in the Bristol Channel with passages of over 40 miles to the Landmark Trust Island of Lundy.  Marketed as ‘Britain’s Own Galapagos’ the Island provides sanctuary to migrating birds in the spring and rare, protected sea life in the reefs and sandbank habitats. A visit to the Marisco Tavern is likely! A chance to develop your pilotage on the return trip as you navigate the Nature Reserve Islands of Pembrokeshire and the 100’s of anchorages. May is the time of year to experience the fabulous Puffins as they nest for the breeding season. Boards evening of Friday 1st May 2020

West & North West Wales Coast & Dublin

A chance to navigate through the famous Jack & Ramsey Sounds as we head north along the West Wales coastline. Sailing to the Llyn Peninsular we will navigate into Aberystwyth then on to Barmouth or Pwllheli. The Llyn Peninsular extends 30 miles into the Irish Sea and it would be rude not to pop across to Dublin for a sample of the Irish Stout. A great sail back towards Fishguard before returning to the Milford Haven waterways. Build passages of over 40 miles and cross the Irish Sea. Board the evening of Friday 22nd May 2020

The Isles Scilly

The enchanting archipelago of the Isles of Scilly are described as a cluster of precious ocean jewels, where nature thrives, and the soul is inspired. We’ve been sailing here for 25 years and have discovered the best anchorages, the best shore visits with Agapanthus and succulents thriving in the micro-climate of the summer…..and of course the best watering holes too! This is an opportunity to log night hours and passage of over 70 and up to 120 miles. We’ll pop into Padstow at some point for some of the famous fish & chips. This must be one of the ‘bucket list sail to’ destinations in the Northern Hemisphere. Board the evenings of Friday 26th June & Friday 28th August 2020

The Emerald Isles – Southern Ireland

A warm welcome awaits us in the Emerald Isles as we head to Kinsale. From here we explore the stunning Southern Irish coastline. We hold inside knowledge of when and where the best music is played in the Irish pubs as we follow the coast either east via Cork, Ballycotton, Waterford and Kilmore Quay or west towards Castletownsend and Baltimore . An opportunity to log night hours and passage of over 70 miles. Don’t forget to pack your passport! Board the evenings of Friday 31st July & Friday 18th September 2020
